Paris is a beautiful city! Do a little research before you go and you will enjoy it so much more. Definitely make a stop at the Rodin Museum and the Louvre. Montmartre is a great place to see a little bit of diversity as compared to the Champs. It is also a great place to get that souvenir piece of Art a good price. A boat ride on the Seine was a good experience and a great way of seeing everything at a different angle. Make sure to see the Eiffel tower at night(after 10:00PM) when the twinkle lights come on. It is spectacular! If you are adventurous and want to get out of the city, a trip to Normandy is well worth the time.

The centerpiece of Old Strasbourg is the cathedral of Notre Dame. Situated on the main town square, it's a must see. Inside the cathedral is a magnificent Astronomic Clock. Climb up the steps of the spire to have a grand view of the town.

Golf, for example, fits wonderfully with a certain refinement and art of living found at many châteaux and monuments in France. To the south of Paris, in the Gâtinais, the Château de Vaugouard hides the charm of its 4-star hotel and its 18-hole golf course in a verdant setting. Packages of one, two or three nights + half-board + unlimited golf enable you to enjoy this 18th-century country seat, adapted to the tastes and leisure pursuits of today, to the full. Discover Mont Saint Michel Discover Mont Saint Michel

The «Wonder of the Western World» forms a tower in the heart of an immense bay invaded by the highest tides in Europe. It was at the request of the Archangel Michel « chief of the celestial militia » that Aubert, Bishop of Avranches built and consecrated a small church on the 16th October 709. In 966 a community of Benedictines settled on the rock at the request of the Duke of Normandy and the pre-Romanesque church was built before the year one thousand. UNESCO has classed the Mont Saint-Michel as a world heritage in 1979 and this mecca of tourism welcomes more than three million visitors a year. More about Mont Saint Michel

Bicycling in France

Bicycling in France

Follow the little roads through the vineyards of Burgundy, descent the mountain pastures of Savoie, amble along roads lined with gorse in the Morbihan…At a different pace, touring on bicycle and mountain biking add an air of freedom to your excursions. You don't need to bike like a pro of the "Tour de France" to enjoy the French country side! A good map giving you the degree of up- or down- hill will be very useful. Take a road boarding a river, and follow the flow of the river: you'll be sure to have a relatively easy run. Or bike on the bank of a canal: these small "sentiers" were used in the "old days" for pulling the transport-barges by horses! More about Bicycling in France
